“Greetings from Taylorville” is a 10 minute episodic TV series created to play on the internet -- available anywhere in the world 24 hours a day and only online. It mixes the common man theme of “My Name is Earl,” the wit and banter of “30 Rock” with the homespun goodness of “The Andy Griffith Show.”
This funny and often outrageous documentary series revolves around the Taylor men of Jackson, Missouri—a family of men without women who seem to be always controlled by the women who surround them. Once again single and all back living in the home in which they were raised, the men are coming to the hard conclusion that “this women issue” might be here to stay.
Filled with interesting secondary characters, “Taylorville” is oriented towards adults but fine for Primetime viewing.
The “Greetings From Taylorville!” website, with blog, will be up and running around August 1, 2008. Tell all your friends!
